I'm still here. I have a terrible chest cold but I wanted to post a quick update and explanation of my being pretty quiet over here.

Around a month ago, my mom found out she had breast cancer. It was caused by her many years of using hormone replacement and thankfully was very localized. She had a mastectomy and now is cancer free. I made these for her.

Eddie left Monday for 3 weeks and will return for 2 and leave again for 4.

The kids started school on August 17th. They start so early here in Co. Springs. It was Ryan's first year in school and it was bittersweet seeing him dressed and ready to go. Avery started 2nd grade, but skipped to 3rd when they evaluated him. It is so nice to have some positive feedback about him. All the struggling and advocating I've done for him over the years is finally paying off.

My parents are going to visit soon. First my mom and then my dad will follow her two weeks later.

Ryan's 5th birthday passed on the 11th. I can't believe my youngest is 5!

I've also been working by spreading crafty, yarny love.
